PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
INSULADD E-COAT Insulating Elastomeric waterproofing Roof and Wall coating is a high build, acrylic emulsion coating that utilizes new technologies incorporating the use of Insuladd ceramic micro-spheres. This unique formulation is designed to provide unsurpassed durability and performance, while maintaining excellent elasticity, providing a waterproof finish on all surfaces. Its unique formulation is designed to provide maximum protection from wind driven rains up to 100 miles an hour, while its permeable film build bridges hairline cracking and allows moisture vapors from within the structure to evaporate and/or escape out through its membrane. This above grade coating provides superior flexibility, and weather resistance to most substrates, and has excellent color retention, resists sagging, is mildew resistant and applies easily.
Mildew Resistant - This paint contains agents which inhibit the growth of mildew on the surface of this paint film. FOR EXTERIOR USE ONLY!

SURFACE PREPARATION
The entire surface area to be painted should be clean, dry, sound, fully cured and free from all dirt, grease, oils, waxes, mildew, curing agents and any other surface contaminants. For best results, it is recommended to pressure wash the surface area using a pressure washer with a minimum of 2500 psi of pressure. Surface areas affected by mildew should be vigorously hand scrubbed with a soft - medium bristle scrub brush and a solution 2/3 cup Tri-Sodium Phosphate - (TSP), mixed with one (1) quart household bleach and three (3) quarts clean water per gallon solution. Allow solution to stand on the affected surface areas for approximately 10 - 20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Allow 24 hours to dry thoroughly. Remove all loose scale, chalked, cracked and peeling paint by power washing, or hand scraping, sanding, wire brushing and/or power tool cleaning. Prime all chalky surface areas with Manufacturer's properly specified masonry sealer. Repair and/or replace all surface imperfection, cracks and voids with Elastomeric Masonry Patching Compounds. (See Label Specifications and/or Written Project Specifications for Proper Application).
PRODUCT APPLICATION
INSULADD E-COAT Insulating Elastomeric waterproofing Roof and Wall coating s easily applied with a quality brush, roller or airless spray equipment. For best results, it is recommended to apply by brush and/or roller. When applying by brush, apply a smooth and generous coat on smaller surface areas, such as painting trim or cutting-in larger surface areas. When applying by roller, apply and even and generous coat in a "W" or crisscross motion, avoiding any excessive respreading or reworking. It is recommended to use a minimum ½" to 1½" nap cover, depending on the surface texture. Apply coating in such a manner as to yield a minimum 10 mil wet film build. Always maintain a wet edge by brushing or rolling into previously applied coating area. When applying by airless spray equipment, it is recommended to use a unit that has the capacity to pump a minimum of two gallons per minute with a 0.021" - 0.035" fluid spray tip. During spray application, it is recommended to back-roll the surface area to ensure proper adhesion, an even coat application, and proper wet mil film thickness. For best results, it is recommended to apply two coats. The first coat should be allowed to dry overnight before application of the second coat. Avoid painting outside when weather conditions are threatening, and in the late afternoon when there is a threat of moisture condensing on wet paint. Apply when surface and ambient temperatures are above 55_ F and below 90_ F. Do not apply to areas where ponding water is persistent KEEP FROM FREEZING!
PRECAUTIONS
CAUTION: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN! Avoid prolonged contact with skin and breathing of dust, vapors and/or spray mists. Avoid contact with eye and skin. USE WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION! Use outdoors if possible. Ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headache or dizziness, or if air monitoring demonstrates vapor / mist levels are above applicable limits, wear an appropriate, properly fitted respirator, (NIOSH approved), during and after application. Follow respirator manufacturer's directions for respirator use. Use chemical safety glasses, goggles, or a face shield for proper eye protection. Wash thoroughly after handling and before eating or smoking. Close container after each use. DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY! FIRST AID: In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of soap and water. For eye contact, flush thoroughly with plenty of water for 15 minutes and Seek Immediate Medical Attention! If affected by inhalation, move immediately to fresh air. If swallowed, Do Not Induce Vomiting! Seek Immediate Medical Attention!
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS & PACKAGING
Stir thoroughly and apply as it comes from the container. Thinning Is Not Necessary, DO NOT THIN!
